Packet Loss

I've recently had an issue with my internet not working for a couple of days, I had called Telstra and they fixed it within 48 hours but now I am having issues of constant slow connections and packet loss when I'm on multiplayer games that wouldn't even lag while I was over my banwidth limit. The packet loss shown in the game averages at around 30-40%.

Yes I have having constant lag spikes, using LTE 4G. I never ever had any problems till last Friday, on late sat and Sunday it went away, now it's back. Its impossible to play online multiplayer. I might have to get a proper broadband connection. I live in Fairfield east nsw

That's disappointing to hear. Best to check our Service Status page: http://servicestatus.bigpond.com/ to begin with just to make sure there are no reported outages/maintenance work in your area.

 
As you might be aware Speed faults on an ADSL service can be caused by equipment both within and outside the premises. It's important to make sure that devices like modem, filters and cabling are not faulty and suitable/compatible for use with your Broadband service.
 
It would be a good idea to start troubleshooting the issue with an Isolation test as it can help get to the root of the fault if one exists on the premises. This knowledge base provides detailed info on how to perform an isolation test: http://goo.gl/fTXVZ
