Phone not working with Internet

I recently bought a new router for my ADSL2+

 

Previously, I have used a splitter for my router and home phone and it worked fine but once I installed the new router, the phone would not work if the router was connected but would work fine if I didn't plug the router in. I've tested different splitters and I do not believe its because of faulty equipment.

On your iPhone, have you tried to "forget the network" and reconfigure the WiFi settings?
