G'day again Sandy, take a look at the following official Telstra link, it comprehensively explains ADSL etc.

 

What you will receive is dependent on the availabbilty through your local exchange. I would say that it would be more than likely you'll have ADSL2, as most exchanges have been upgraded to 2 supply.
