Sites timeout or are slow to load, packet loss on NBN

Hi there,

I have NBN and use a Technicolour TG799vac NBN modem/Router combo.

 

since Friday (22-Feb-19) most websites I visit timeout and don't load. I need to stop and refresh the page to get it to load.  I've rebooted my modem a few times - no success.

I've changed the DNS server from Telstra to Google to OpenDNS with no success.

I get between 50% to 100% packet loss when I ping either Google or Telstra's DNS server.

Is this a problem with the Telstra network ?

Thanks for checking.  Today the problem was fixed.

 

Telstra Network Engineer confirmed this was caused by errors on a NBN Co link. The link was bypassed and Telstra are working with NBN Co to resolve permanently.
