Over a week now with mostly no internet, no emails and no home phone. Incredibly bad.
We pay a premium for internet that is so slow it can barely load a webpage. Thanks Telstra, Xmas where we can't communicate with children o'seas.
Anyone know where I can find a phone box?

Another technician has come to look at problem of no internet, no emails and no home phone.
Replaces some wiring. He doesn't have faith in fix due to distance from exchange.
@Rain100 I don't understand this thread. How can it be Telstra's fault if you are having issues, presumably ADSL, if you live a good distance from the exchange, which the technician has seemed to have advised.
Technology has its limits you know?
Can you post your full modem stats so the tech guru's can have a look?

We PAY $107 a month for a home phone line that doesn't work! Which means internet doesn't work and emails not able to be sent or received. The technician DID NOT at any point think this was a reasonable situation and when he saw internet 'speeds' (if you can call them that) he was shocked (not in a good way!)
@Rain100 Hopefully, by fixing your phone will fix your internet issues. But we still need to see your modem stats.
