Smart Modem Wifi - Device Auto Connect

Yesterday installed Canle Internet and the Telstra Smart Modem. Connected IPhone to the wifi and all works well. Go to work and return home and the phone doesn’t automatically connect to Wifi. Select Settings in phone and it’s always the smart modem and shuts away and returns message “Not Connected Internet”
Turn modem off, reboots, green light displayed and WIFI connection now works. Been the case for my wife as well and so what modem setting need to be adjusted so I don’t have to reboot every time I walk out to the garden and lose the Wifi signal

Thanks for contacting us, usually your phone should remember the home network. 

 

The first thing to do if you have issues with our service is to check your location here

 

If you're not currently affected by a disruption, my advice would be to login & complete this as it may help fix the issues you're having but also helps speed up the fault process if you need to call our fault team on 133933 (if you have NBN, please call 1800 834 273).

 

They'll arrange an appointment if they're unable to resolve on the call.
