System failure within Telstra admin

I paid account ten days ago bar removal takes 24 hours ten days later no internet

no one can fix problem within Telstra

Hi @Paul1953

 

I'm sorry to hear your service is still restricted.

 

If the service gets restricted & you've paid the outstanding amount, you can let us know here & services should be resumed in less than 2 hours. 

If you have a Foxtel from Telstra service, it may take longer to process your payment and for your service to be resumed.

 

Being 10 days have passed, it sounds like there may be an issue with the order to unrestrict services or you may be experiencing a service issue. 

 

If no disruptions are listed here, my advice would be to switch off the modem for 10 full minutes & reboot. If that doesn't help, please login here & complete the troubleshooting as it may help fix any issues you're currently experiencing, but also helps speed up the fault process if you need to call our fault team on 133933 if ADSL or Cable or 1800 834 273 if NBN.

 

If we're unable to resolve, our tech team may arrange a tech appointment or monitor the connection.

 

I'd suggest giving above a go first & if it doesn't help, then I would suggest taking the path of raising a complaint.

If the frontline consultants can't fix the issue, then you will need to lodge a formal complaint via https://telstra.com/complaints

 

Note: it can take up to 5 business days for initial contact from the complaints team.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
