If you have an issue you can’t resolve directly the TIO can be great for mediating the situation.
Typically however, they would require you to have attempted to reasonably resolve the complaint with the telco directly, so lodging an official complaint.
going to the TIO over ever little thing does nothing but overload the already overloaded TIO with basic issues which likely would have been resolved directly in 1/3rd the time. In turn making it slower and less helpful for people who actually need it.
Previously worked with a Telstra Partner however I am not a Telstra Employee, just a fellow customer helping when I can.
