Technician still waiting

Have had no internet, no emails and unusable home phone line for nearly a week.

Won't go through all the entire saga...but in short a tech is coming today. He arrived! Fantastic!

He fixes home phone. We have internet again & getting emails! Great! He tells us that internet speed is unusually low. (Hey! We're used to it! When webpage appears in a few minutes we're pretty happy!) He needs to go to substation - or something like that - says he'll be back. That was about 5 hours ago. I've just tried to ring Telstra to find out what is happening...and they want to start at the beginning. Problem solved they say. Go to chat....and after an hour...I have a phone number to ring to get in touch with technician. I request transcript....only to find telephone number has been replaced with ****.

My head hurts! And I was so close!!
