Telstra Global Routing Issue

The last couple of hours appears that half the internet thats outside of Australia is inaccessible via my Telstra service. If I try to reach various sites in New Zealand or is the US I get a trace route that effectively stops at Telstra global routing. Belo is a trace to aussieoutages.com. If I start up a VPN to the US and then trace the site is working and functional. This appears to be an issue with the routing within Telstra,

Any idea when this is going to be fixed?

traceroute to aussieoutages.com (104.28.14.6), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

Re: Telstra Global Routing Issue

I'm having this exact same issue. It's definitely a routing problem and not DNS too.

This is also occurring on Telstra mobile services as well.

Re: Telstra Global Routing Issue

Same issue.  Something went spang about 2-3 hours ago, access to hsreplay.net just stopped.  Still access to many US services.

traceroute shows telstraglobal.net failure

Re: Telstra Global Routing Issue

Have you guys tried connecting mobile devices to the network? Sites suddenly stopped working couple of hours ago on my pc but my mobile was able to connect to them half an hour ago through telstra network.

Darndest thing. Mobile cant doing it anymore either as I am posting this.
Telstra has been on the news recent concerning network connectivity, this might be one of the new problems they have.

Re: Telstra Global Routing Issue

It seems to be Telstra DNS not up to scratch again.  Most sites I know that are affected are Cloudflare based.  Telstra's routing issues yet again.

I jump on to my VPN and all is well.  Try google DNS or Cloudflares DNS they will probably work.

Re: Telstra Global Routing Issue

Well its fixed this morning by the looks. Does Telstra ever reply to any of these messages in crowd support? Seems Crowd Support is just for Telstra Users to communicate and agree that there are issues and there is almost no Telstra involvement or input?

Anyway...fixed overnight at some time by someone potentially without Telstra knowing.
