View upstream and downstream power on telstra cable adapter.

I have recently purchased the telstra cable adapter because my old netgear router got destroyed by lightning. How do i view the upstream and downstream power settings ? I was previously able to view them so that i could know if my cable hardware was stable.

The telstra smart modem which i also purchased is working fine, but i need to view that page so that i can inform telstra when its time to do maintenance on the pit which corrodes itself every few years.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: View upstream and downstream power on telstra cable adapter.

You could try plugging a PC directly into Ethernet port on cable adapter and going to
http://192.168.100.1/ > Broadband Connection > Connection Settings

I haven't tried this myself but have been told this is how to access the CM450. You might also have to set up a static IP address on your Ethernet adapter on the PC

@cf4 is right

The CM450 is pretty much a bridged netgear modem
