I reported my mother's landline home phone out 23rd May 2013 and we are still waiting for the service to be restored. She has had to drive to her local shops and use the pay phone there because she doesn't have a mobile phone to phone a family member to let them know she's ok.
I have been calling Telstra every few days on her behalf and getting told the same story everyone else is getting told.
Her whole family is concerned for her as she has no way of contacting somebody in an emergency. This is not acceptable, but I can't do anything but wait.
