belong broadband issue - speed very slow

hi belong team

 

i am a new customer of nbn broadband adsl from belong and this is my 3rd unfortunate day.

 

in the beginning belong took a very long time to send me the modem. then when it finally came - the speed is very very slow.

 

we spent almost 2-3 hours everyday with the belong customer service 

 

it broke all the limits when today the customer service lady told us in a very convincing manner that they would send me a mail asking me technical details - and i need to send them all the details asap

 

i am waiting since 3-4 hours and i havent receievd any mail from them

 

on request from the customer service person - i also checked the internet speed using speed test - the download speed is showed is 0.96mbps - 

 

i dont think i am goign to pay 60$ per month for this pathetic speed and this pathetic service

 

i done think me and my family can spend so many hours every day to chase for the internet

 

i also tried to check if there is any email id for customer complaints. someone please let me know the email id to lodge a complaint.

Hey Deep,

As belong is a separate company from Telstra Retail (they are a part of the same corporation however are run completely separately and have separate procedures for complaints and the like).

According to the information on the Belong website complaints can be lodged with the Belong team by phone however it doesn't list any online contact details for complaints.

"Complaints & difficulties with Belong

We're not happy unless you are. Our team are available 24x7 to assist with any difficulties you may be experiencing with your Belong service.

Most issues can usually be solved by calling us on 1300 BELONG (235 664). Please let us know how we can help, we'd love the opportunity to help get things running smoothly again. The cost of this call will be your standard call rate to a 1300 number.

If we're unable to resolve the difficulty, you can lodge a complaint via one of the above contact methods. We will review your complaint and do our best to resolve the issue quickly and easily.

If your complaint remains unresolved after you have contacted us, you may elect to ask the TIO to assist."

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.
