Calls from my own number

I have a Call Guardian 302 system, which works brilliantly at screening unwanted calls. Recently, when I checked the listing of calls which were screened out, on several occasions I see my own number listed. As the number did not pass the screening, I did not get to see if anyone was on the line. Some research I did suggests that this call from my own number might be a form of scam call.

Can anyone verify this, or offer any other suggestions as to what might be happening? Thank you.
