Land line

I live in Sandgate Qld and since yesterday have lost my landline.

Has anybody in this area problems with landline at present?

Hi Sand17, I've checked our fault reports and can't see any known exchange outages in the area so it may be specific to your connection. If you have access to another phone then the Faults team on 13 22 03 would be best to contact for testing and to arrange a technician appointment, or you can also report the outage via the page at http://goo.gl/1p5Eh.

Hi Greg, our line was checked and fixed yesterday afternoon.

Problem is that another phone is required to get in touch with your fault team.

We only have one phone.

I contacted Telstra on 24 x 7 chat, that was helpful.

Thanks for the update - I'm glad to hear the line's up and running for you again! The chat team are also an alternative, and as mentioned you can also report the fault via the page above if you don't have access to a mobile or another phone to call the Faults team.
