Loss of home phone line

Red light on modem turned red and flashes. I turn off modem. Turn back on. Get a solid blue light and line returns only to drop out within an hour. I do nothing and phone line returns only to drop out again. I do nothing. And it returns. This is continuous. And all our home calls are immediately re directed to mobile. I’ve been kept waiting on the fault line and can’t get a consultant on the chat. I’m tipping there’s been big problems today. I’m in the Melton area. Anyone else having issues?
