If you don’t want to miss any of those important phone calls to your home phone, why not set up Call Forwarding? The easiest way to turn this on is to call 1#, then say "Turn on Call Forward" and listen to the instructions. Alternatively, follow the below to turn on each type of Call Forward.

To turn on Call Forward Immediate (all calls):
Press * 2 1 (phone number) #

To turn on Call Forward Busy:
Press * 2 4 (phone number) #

To turn on Call Forward No Answer:
Press * 6 1 (phone number) #
You can also turn on Call Forward No Answer and specify how many seconds before the call is forwarded:
Press * 6 1 (phone number) * (time in seconds) #

Turn on Call Forward Selected Callers:
Press * 9 2 #

Turn on Call Forward Set the Time:
Press * 1 6 #

I am still unable to get call forward immediate to work on my landline.  Any ideas?

HI sherio, the best people to speak to about the problems with the call forwarding not working would be the Residential team on 13 22 00.

Can this be applied independently to a multiple number or duet?

Hi jenb1983 - the details I can find don't say that it's incompatible with the Duet or Multiple Number services, but can't be used in conjunction with a Messagebank service.

Call forward immediate is not quite as straightforward as just dialling *21

 

You need to not only dial *21 but then put the forwarding phone number in and end it with a # and listen to confirm it is on.

 

To turn off you need to #21# and listen confirming it is off.

why not give us a proper service that at least saves more than 3 missed calls on handpeice and tells us correct time that they were missed only telstra products let us down over and over as does support for these all temporary fixes not cures
