Hello All Again,
Seems i have another issue with Telstra just last week i had a issue and it was working when they came to fix it on the 15th was working fine until just recently today
So Total of 2 days it was working perfectly before this happen again
No Dial Tone at All but if i ring from my mobile to the Home Line it rings Also my adsl2+ speed went really awful
On The Cordless Phone it says "Check Phone Line"
I suspect it has something to do with something in the area according to the website these two issues

And here are my modem stats
Maximum Line rate 0.42 Mbps 4.3Mbps
Line Rate 0.42 Mbps 3.89 Mbps
When usally i sync at 18Mbps easy lol
I suspect it's a Telstra issue they doing some work again
Was working perfectly yesterday then today just went bad
I'll ring Telstra again and see what they can do for me.
This is really strange issues i'm having lately.
Has anyone here had so much issues within 2 weeks?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Phone Line has been fixed and and i have dial tone again, seems their was a connection down the street that broke off again,
Always effects me lol, same guy who came last few times to fix faults in my home and down the street
Nice guy too.
Then i had to ring Telstra to have my speeds fixed as i was synced at 18Mbps but only getting 6Mbps
Hopefully these stats are ok
Was this helpful?
Thank you for your feedback

Hello,
My best advice is to ring them on 132203 or use Telstra 24/7 Live Chat.

Hope that helps
Thank you very much,
I just rang to get the Interim Service turned on again
Now to ring Telstra Directly Thanks

It isn't common, but it is possible that you had an issue which was only affecting you, however when they fixed the issue you were having you are now being affected by a wider issue...
Ohh i see dang lol guess i just have to wait till the service is fixed again
That's ok just wish my internet speeds were better lol

Maximum Line rate 0.33 Mbps 2.2 Mbps
Line Rate 0.33 Mbps 2.09 Mbps
Not Sure if i should hope on and activate 3g Dongle 5gb on it
3G speeds ain't too much faster compared to 4G

Yes i know,
I brought them while on special at officeworks, 3g optus sticks
Here's hoping it be fixed by Monday for good till then i'll just be patient
Backup plans are good to have even tho they may not sound like the best Options
Phone lines and Adsl over it are never a good mix, shame back in 2000 Companies didn't just laying down Fiber into the ground.

3G isn't too bad, depending on your local tower it can compare to ADSL2+ in speeds... the biggest issue is 5GB never goes far lol
Getting 17Mbps down and 2.6Mbps up on 3g right now, since my adsl2 with Telstra is not working lol

Telstra and Optus both were implementing HFC networks, Telstra had its Velocity Fiber network, and iiNet had been rolling out a fixed wireless network... along with a few other companies who were investing in their own private FTTP networks...
We have Governments (doesn't matter which one) and Big Business completing rather than working together... and in the end, the losers are the end users
Ohh yeah the end users are the losers in the end
Id love NBN but can't get it so i'm stuck on adsl2+
UPDATE:
Telstra Rep called me this morning,
And maybe someone here can explain to me what they mean,
Seems i won't get the issue fixed till Wednesday 22nd of july which is in 3 days
The Telstra Rep on the phone said after he did some tests that the card was faulty
And it needs to be ordered and arrive on Monday afternoon at Telstra, Maybe Tested on Tuesday then go out and replace the faulty card so i can have my landline working again with the internet
So Tech will need to replace the faulty card

Ohhhhhhh now i can understand what they mean now,
Once again Thank you DrQwerty90 For the explaination
Since you mentioned dslam, can that just effect one person such as me, or the whole area
Either way i really hope that once this is fixed no more issues will arise
Id like to get back to my Online Gaming And Streaming

You are unlucky with the land line having it has problems in a short period of time, however im glad that it has been fixed for you and have a working connection again.
After the fix, are you still receiving slower download speeds. ?
