Phone line and therefore ADSL out since 18/01/2020. Due for reinstatement 04/02/2020. Online says cable damage by third party, help desk says planned outage at exchange. NBN wired but not due for connection until end March 2020. Interim arrangement is to provide 4gb at a time on prepaid sim on hot spot phone. What is going on and why does Telstra treat its customers (and shereholder) like this? By the way this suburb is 4km from 3rd largest city in Australia (Brisbane), also homeof UQ. No press or online info of any substance on this matter!
