In March I changed my NBN service from Optus to Telstra.
First off the landline was cancelled by Optus rather than transferred.
In May the number was finally released by Optus but now, more than seven weeks later Telstra has yet to activate my number.
Today I chatted and spoke with 9 (or was it 10) different people, finally I was told they had ordered a copper line service and that I (that is I) would have to contact the sales team to get the problem fixed.
Four and a half months to transfer a number is far too long.
I have lodged a complaint with the TIO but they have a backlog of months before they can look at my complaint.
How can I get this fixed rather than being switched between Telstra departments, no-one at Telstra takes ownership and just passes you over to someone else or hang up or close chat.
