removing fax duet equipment from phone line

I've cancelled my fax duet service quite a few months back now. I've not been charged anymore in my bill so everything seems cool.

 

But there's one problem, the duet equipment is not only still attached to my phone line but the service is apparently still active!!! People can still call the duet number and it'll still ring. And if I connet my fax machine back onto the line it'll still receive faxes. I've not tried making any outgoing call from it though fearing that the service might get re-activated and I'll be charged for the service.

 

Anyway, I also have ADSL service on the same line and although internet seemingly works without problem, I'll still prefer the equipment removed. It's also disruptive and annoying when the duet line rang.

 

I've rung customer service before (off-shore support centre?) and all they can tell is the service had been cancelled and I'm not been charged for it and that was it. Can't remember if they had said they would see what they could do to get the equipment removed.

 

So could someone here help, or direct me to somewhere (a phone number) to get help with this particular matter? Thanks.

I forgot to mention it's my home phone and as such is under residential. They connected me to residential fault report at 132203 and it's now sorted. Thanks again.
