How can i change my username? The one I currently have is my former partners name and I don't want to continue to have to use it as it means she can access my account.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Username for your account on which system, specifically? Your BigPond service's primary account (@bigpond.com), your Telstra Online Services account (@telstra.com), your CrowdSupport account, … ?

I don't want to continue to have to use it as it means she can access my account.

Change your password to something she cannot guess, for starters.

Re: user name

It applies to both the BigPond services and the Telstra online account. They both have the same username. Thanks.

Re: user name

You can get Telstra Online Services support staff to delete your Telstra Online Services account, then create a new one and link it to your Telstra billing account on which your BigPond service is; that part's easy. BigPond has stopped letting users change the primary username (and hence e-mail address) for broadband services as a self-service option years ago, and I'm not even sure if it can be done at all by BigPond Billing consultants.

Anyway, is the Telstra (billing) account in your name or your partner's name? In other words, who is the legal lessee of the broadband service?
