Prepaid mobile plan

Last Saturday I ported my optus number to Telestra prepaid plan.  I can receive and send SMS and use data. But I can not receive incoming call or make any call through telestra service.

Sounds like the porting hasn't been successfully completed on the Optus side (they have to put a redirect in the system).

Give 1258880 a call and ask them to chase Optus up to get it finalized correctly.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

I inserted sim at different handset and it is working.
I am not sure if telestra support Huawei Y9 2019 model phone
All other service sim working but not telestra

It should work. All versions of that model appear to support the 850MHz band.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Today I went to telestra store. And their response was they can't guarantee that telestra sim will work on all phone model....

Well, no, they can't give you that guarantee.

If you buy a handset that does not have the capability of using the UMTS 850MHz band, then the phone won't work properly. And if it doesn't have the right LTE bands it won't work properly either.

Which model number Huawei Y9 2019 do you have? It will be something like JKM-LX1, JKM-LX2, JKM-LX3 ; JKM-AL00 or JKM-TL00
