I am relocating from Singapore back to Australia, and would like to know whether I can bring my own device to use with a Telstra prepaid mobile service. The device is Huawei e5885Ls-93a, which claims support for 4G LTE Bands B1 & B3 (among others).
Was this helpful?
Does it support band 28? 700mhz is the most used frequency for 4G
It needs to support band 28 (700mhz), 3(1800mhz), and 7(2600mhz) if you want it to 100% work.
The Huawei supports these bands. See https://www.4gltemall.com/blog/tag/huawei-e5885ls-93a-specs/
FDD-LTE Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/19/20
* TDD-LTE: Band 38/40/41
It should work but not in some areas were band 28 is used.
Thanks so much for your rapid and helpful reply.
The device does not support Band 28, hence I will choose another device.
Luckily I had not yet purchased the Huawei e5885Ls-93a
Your reply also helped. I will look for a 'more compatible' device.
