Not sure if you have tried to change the default settings within the Wingle and were prevented from doing so by the modem or if you are trying to establish how to change the default SSID and Wi-Fi password. If the latter, hope this may help.
With my Huawei E8372h-608, connecting it to your PC for the first time, it will auto connect you to the modem on 192.168.1.1, invite you alter default Log-in ID and password, then next step allows you to change the default SSID (10 digits) and password (8 digits). If you have left the default ones as active and wish to change them, go to Settings/WLANN/WLAN Basic Settings, edit the fields and APPLY. If your forget these any time in the future, you can use the Reset button inside to take the Wingle back to factory default settings.
