Netgear Telstra wifi 4GX Advanced III Wifi -

I recently upgraded my 3G to a 4GX Advanced III. I run my Toshiba Satellite Laptop off it and I have a problem.

This hotspot absolutely ploughs through data. I have been home one day and probably used skype to Thailand for maybe 1 hour and normal usage like crosswords and checking my email and already it has used 1.72GB.

A bit abnormal I think. My last two bills were over $400 on a 50GB allowance.

Your help appreciated.

Make sure your internet settings are listed as being "metered" on your computer
