Nighthawk M1 CA bands supports

Answered

Hi Telstra,

I am insterested for ighthawk M1

and know it supports  4-band CA

but i look up for the manual the CA bands show in the below,

• Up to 4X Carrier Aggregation

• LTE/4GX 700/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz

1800+700, 1800+2600, 2600+700, 2600+2600, 700+1800+2600, 1800+2600+2600, 700+2600+2600 MHz1800+700, 1800+2600, 2600+700, 2600+2600, 700+1800+2600, 1800+2600+2600, 700+2600+2600 MHz

why the maximum number in the bands combination list is 3, it should be 4 bands right?

have i any misunderstanding for the 4-band CA?

and  dose the 900MHZ band supports CA with other bands in M1?

thanks.

Re: Nighthawk M1 CA bands supports

Telstra stopped CA on the 900 band a few years ago, in favour of the 700/1800 combo. There are not many 900mhz sites around (Probably less then 1% of total 4G sites AFAIK)

2100mhz 4G i think is re-farmed from 2G and again AFAIK it is less then 1% of total 4G sites as well

While Telstra used 4 band CA for their 1gbps testing using the Nighthawk, they haven't released 4 band CA to consumers yet. I'm not sure which frequency they'll ultimately use as their 4th band if it is released either unfortunately
