Pre Paid Broadband Issue

Hi we have the elite prepaid mobile broadband modem (I think we’ve had it for 2 years) and now when we go to use it the modem has stopped sending out a WIFI signal making it completely useless. Can you please advise if there is any way to force it to send a signal. The front display says that all is ok and that there is a signal, but none of our PC's or tablet can detect and it’s been over a week since we have been able to use it and everything we try doesn’t work.

Hi,

 

The issue is probably that device has become faulty and isn't broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal anymore. As TheWanderer38 mentioned, are you able to still log into the modem? If so check the network settings and ensure that Broadcast SSID is enabled.

 

Have you tried using the device in another location at all? There is a small chance that there could be interference in your house which is preventing the device from sending the signal out due to this interference. If it works in other locations then we can see what model device you have and step you through changing the channel of the Wi-Fi signal to see if that helps.

Yes tried that, disconnected the conncetion as well and still won't connect

If you can login to it.. check and make sure that Broadcast SSID is enabled.
