Telstra Wi-Fi 4G Advanced Pro X Does this devices support 3G/LTE?

Answered

Working in Remote areas of the country and wish to find out if this devices will still work in the remote areas some of which only have 3G/NextG coverage.

Everything is always okay in the end, If it's not, then it's not the end.

Re: Telstra Wi-Fi 4G Advanced Pro X Does this devices support 3G/LTE?

Hi mellorpc

The Wi-Fi 4G advanced Pro X device supports all our 4G and 3G bands.  Our coverage footprint for 3G (NextG) (850MHz) is the most extensive with 4G coverage increasing rapidly.  The device does not support 2G bands.

The device is future proof and is able to support the APT700Mhz band that we will start deploying from Jan 2015.

Without knowing in detail where you are going it is a bit hard to confirm though!

Have you checked our coverage maps?

Re: Telstra Wi-Fi 4G Advanced Pro X Does this devices support 3G/LTE?

The first question that sprung to my mind was :

So is Telstra not pushing forward with 4G Carrier Aggregation (CA) on the 900+1800MHz bans.?

Since this newest device does not support 4G CA on 900+1800 but on 700+1800.

So does this mean Telstra has changed its focus and will be in future, when 4G 700MHz starts rolling out, be ofering CA using the 700+1800MHz bands?

Is 4G CA on 900+1800 now dropped?

none
