Unable to recharge mobile broadband wifi

I am trying to recharge my Telstra Elite wifi modem and am receiving the following message:

Sorry, we're unable to process your recharge request as the system is currently unavailable.

 

I have tried all aspects of recharging such as m.telstra.com, calling 132200 and live chat which drops out when it was my turn 5 times in last 24 hours.

I want to give telstra my money to recharge this wifi modem but cannot.

There is a known national outage currently impacting on some MyAccount services, so I'm wondering if perhaps this might be the cause.
