Website to active 4G Netgear AirCard wifi hotspot?

Hi,

Bought the above advanced wifi hotspot today and was told to go to http://m.home to complete registration. It doesn't exist when I type it in.

HELP!

Thanks in advance.

Re: Website to active 4G Netgear AirCard wifi hotspot?

Hi Rhett,

Assuming your pc is connected to the device ok, I'm pretty sure that it's 192.168.0.1 (from admittedly poor memory), failing that I'd try the usual bigpond default of 10.0.0.138

Failing that try opening up the command prompt (search for command or cmd if using Vista or above) and typing in ipconfig. (without the .) This should show you the default gateway address, this is the modem's ip address, take this number and try it in your browser and it should allow you to access the device to start registration.  Hope this info helps.

Hi all,

Friendly tip: Make sure you're using Internat Explorer when connecting to the router.

I lost some time messing around with Chrome before reluctantly firing up IE....

Re: Website to active 4G Netgear AirCard wifi hotspot?

1. Be sure you are connected to the wifi hotspot not your own home wifi

2. Type http://m.home

At least with my mac if you just type m.home (wihtout the "http://") into the address bar nothing happens when I am connected to the hotspot and if I am connected to the internet at large I get google searching for "m.home"
