I have a pendo 3G modem network router. I previously had a 3g usb stick that I plugged into the front of it that would give me wifi internet. (I'm wanting to do this because this will give my desktop internet) I've just purchased a TELSTRA ELITE® PRE–PAID MOBILE WI–FI Device and love it. Much faster than previous. Is there a way of tethering it through wifi (no USB tethering capability) I'm wanting to do this because this will give my desktop an internet connection. So setup I want is PC connected to pendo wifi router via ethernet cable, router connected through wifi to TELSTRA ELITE® PRE–PAID MOBILE WI–FI Device.
This will depend on the capabilities of your router, as it will need to connect to the 3G device as a client. Unfortunately that isn’t something that we can advise you on.
Another solution would be to connect your desktop directly to the 3G device via wifi. If your desktop does not currently possess wifi capabilities you can purchase a usb wifi dongle relatively cheaply.
