adsl outage -lower portland since 2nd feb 2019

Our adsl has been out since the 2nd February every day we are told it will be back on and once again told today it will be back by 7. And now it won’t be for another 2 days.

Mine's been out for 6 days - both internet and foxtel - keep getting told 7 hrs - 1 day - will advise - will have a case manager call you - its a load of rubbish -

I'm in Malabar NSW. My service has been down since 2nd Feb. Held desk cannot advise of info beyond the outage website in which the cause has been under investigation and restoration has been reset to 2 days 4 times with a mix of "to be confirmed". No visibility and I've lost all trust in what Telstra say and write on their outage web site.

Seems like telstra has lost the plot - outages everywhere and they don't know how to fix it -lots of customers wont be paying their next bill!

I hope the connection is up and running again for you all soon - if there is a widespread fault or maintenance work in your area this should be listed at https://tel.st/bl59z along with updates on the restoration time. If the extent of the fault is greater than originally assessed or if specialised equipment is needed for the repairs then this time will be affected.

If the NBN rollout has been completed in your area (even if you're still using ADSL or cable), and repair and maintenance works are handled by NBNCo technicians, so we would be awaiting reports from them regarding the repair timeframe.

In the meantime our Tech Support teams on 133 933 (for ADSL or cable connections) or 1800 834 273 (for NBN services) would be best to contact regarding any interim connection options available for the downtime.

So I live in Brisbane and we have had similar issues for the past fortnight. The classic is that they say they will ring back and never do. So far I have been on Muscak for 45 minutes and my daughter twice before that for 60 minutes and similar times all last week. I was in China recently and had no issue. Absolutely ridiculous. I have jsut signed with another provider because it is hopeless to do work or to contact them. Third world service in a first world country! How embarrassing Telstra

Shame it’s gone that way. People just want a working service, not rebates for outages. My link in 10 years has had only 2 outages that i recall. 1 x 4hr and 1 x 2 hr, No Netflix annoys my wife but its a big impact on the kids when they need for their home work.

Back on this morning after 7 long days - lots of phone calls to telstra - their ridiculous replies - by 7pm - within 24 hrs - apologies for inconvenience but no solution - im stuck with contract till Sept then bye bye Telstra!
