I have a Telstra 4G Sierra Wireless modem that I have been using on a mobile internet plan for several years.My contact has expired. Can I replace the sim in this and continue to use it for prepaid broadband or do I need to prpurchase a new device?

If it was a BigPond Mobile Broadband plan (With an email address, no excess usage charges) you were on, the device may be locked to only work on the BigPond plans, if it was on a Telstra Mobile Broadband plan (with a mobile number) then you should have no problems

Buzzme, Normally you can use a post paid SIM card in a pre paid modem and vice versa without any issue .
