cant send emails from New York

I can receive emails but can't send. Server set to mail.bigpond.com I get a message saying "server does not support authentication " even though i have unchecked the "require sign in" box. Connecting via wifi on my tablet . What setting do i have to change?

Hi kyran,

 

Is it a BigPond e-mail address you're trying to send form on your tablet, or another type of e-mail address that you'd normally simply use a Telstra mobile data connection to send via?
