Changing from plan to prepaid from abroad

Hi, I am currently out of contract but still in a plan, but wish to go to prepaid. I am not in Australia now, so need to do it online, and the Livechat doesn't seem to open for me. Is there any way of doing this online? Thanks

Hi Matt94,

 

The only way to change from post paid to Prepaid online is through Live Chat. 

 

Numerous customers while overseas are having trouble with accessing Live Chat. 

 

If you are trying to use Live Chat on a mobile device, don't use Safari and once you've brought the Live Chat website up, "Request Desktop Site".

 

You can call Telstra on +61 439 125 109, which is a free call from a Telstra mobile while overseas. 

 

I am NOT a Telstra employee and never have been. However, I AM a customer who volunteer's my time in the hope to help someone with their question.

I can never seem to change my Prepaid plan on my phone. I get a message every time that says my request failed.
