Customer Loyalty doesn’t count for anything

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years now having not 1 of anything but 2, 2 Mobile plans, 2 house and internet plans as well but when you call to get the same deal your given to new customers and to be told no you can’t have that only if you get a new number or bring a new number is not how you keep customers and you should look at a giving customer that have stay for so long something back not a $12 movie ticket!
I have never had such bad service I’m asking you to price match yourself not a other company just give the loyal customers the same if not better.

I’m now looking at moving all my accounts and hopefully the new company has much better service and Quality return for loyal customers.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Customer Loyalty doesn’t count for anything

Hi Granthki,

There's a dedicated team in Telstra called "Saves", they're the only department that have authority to give customer's the best deals or discounts.

Ring 132200, say "Disconnection" to the automated lady. You'll be put through to the Saves team who'll be able to look at your Account and offer you something to stop you leaving Telstra.

I'd ring between 8am- 9am AEDT, and when you speak to someone ask them if they're in the Saves or Disconnection department, if they're not ask to be transferred to them.

I am NOT a Telstra employee and never have been. However, I AM a customer who volunteer's my time in the hope to help someone with their question.

Re: Customer Loyalty doesn’t count for anything

Had a similar experience and I am a 50 year customer, when I pushed the point they came up with a new plan that was slightly less upgrading my 5GB data to 30GB. So the old meaning of loyalty is still recognised you just have to push harder.

Sorry @Granthki, I made a typing error, it should say the hours between 8am- 9pm.Smiley Surprised

@Kevin_Hutch, yes it pays to keep pushing. In most cases you can get a better deal....doesn't always work but it's worth a trySmiley Wink

Re: Customer Loyalty doesn’t count for anything

Oh I failed to mention I was on the cheapest $40/5GB plan and now on the $49/30GB plan with a $10 discount so I am even a $1 a month better off as well and now do much more browsing.
