Re: New plan

Downgrading a plan below the initial contracted plan will normally attract an Early Termination Charge.
For example, if you are on an XL plan and want to downgrade to an M plan, you would attract an ETC.

If you signed up on an M plan, upgrade to an XL and then wanted to downgrade again, that wouldn't attract an ETC.

Your best option is to talk to the Disconnections Team on 132200 and talk through your options.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Re: New plan

Hi Wen5, welcome to CrowdSupport.

@Jupiter is correct, unless you are on a BYO plan. Generally speaking you can swap from BYO Plan to a BYO Plan of a lower tier without incurring an ETC, however your contract period may start again.
