Is it standard practice for Telstra not to port a mobile number across within 48 hours or is over a week and counting the norm.

It's usually quite a quick process...

but recently there have been quite long delays reported.

50 + years exp. in radio comms., eg mobile phones since 1963, two-way radios, base stations, antennas & pagers. Expert in current Telstra Go repeaters & smart antennas.
