Can't map network drives on Smart Modem Gen 2

Answered

Hi all.

I have a 3TB drive partitioned into two - ~1TB for photos, ~2TB for media and movies - but I can't seem to map the drives in Windows. Can someone help me with this?

Edit: should also point out they're NTFS formatted.

If you know try to Add a Network location and instead of entering the path use the browse button to select the correct folder. It doesn't show size of folder but you can copy files to an from the folder.

Have you enabled network discovery and SMB V1 on the PC? Once SMB V 1 is enabled you can browse to the folder location.

Thanks for that... though it only comes up like this...

Is there a way to make it so it's like a network drive that shows much space it has, and be able to copy files to it? Because it doesn't do either of those things.

Re: Can't map network drives on Smart Modem Gen 2

I have been facing an issue regarding the Smartmodem gem as it is not getting connected to my iPad and I have to access the network drives on my iPad. Please provide me the way to fix that or I would have to ask https://applesupportnumber.net/apple-ipad-support/

Telstra Smart Modem

Plug in and connect in minutes. Smart.
