I have now seen that I am getting FTTC.
I have a dlink ultra taipan dsl-4320l modem/router in one.
Now as I am staying with Telstra when NBN comes thru I want to know what will be connected inside my house noting I want to use my dlink.
Isnt FTTC like FTTN.
I also want to make and receive calls and faxs.
Pictures would help as I just brought dlink a year ago and want to use it
Was this helpful?
My modem/router is VDSL already
What if I want to use another company for VOIP
I dont want to use Telstra equipment as I have a compatible device the DLINK
Even if you you ha VDSL modem you still need to use the NBN VDSL modem as it also provides power for the Node. All Telstra NBN services come with a phone service but you can also have addition phones from other VOIP providers.
