Magenta light. Back up on, but not working

Not working. Very frustrating. Trying to complete my last day of work. Please help.IMG_0883 3.JPG

IIf you have an ADSL connection you could try logging into modem http://192.168.0.1, go to Broadband and enter your bigpond user name and password

You could also try a factory reset. Press button located just below power button for 10 to 15 seconds. Modem should reboot resetting everything to factory defaults. If online light still mangenta instead of green ring support.

To get internet working via backup could try disconnecting DSL port for DSL connections or WAN port for other types of connections.

Tried restart, tried reset. Already did the trouble shooting/testing link which, with much fanfare told me everything was ok at telstra's end. Went to telstra outage page, put my address in and voila, said there was an outage in my area. Interesting to note their their trouble shooting /testing page said no issue. One has to wonder whether this is a true testing page..... Anyway, thank you for your response. I guess I have to wait until the outage is restored. Cheers.

have done all of this to no avai, appears Telstra is having lots of issues and l like many are frustrated that this modem arrangement is flakey at best!

Been connected 4 months and evry month an issue... keeps pushing to Mobile backup .. it just happens too regularly to be a viable service
