Check cabling to your Modem

A loose or accidentally knocked cable can switch your modem to the Telstra mobile network triggering an SMS/email
Connection via:
Phone line: ensure it’s plugged securely into the grey DSL port
Fibre or cable entry modem (FTTP/HFC cable: ensure the ethernet from entry modem is plugged securely into the red WAN port

Reboot your modem

You might need reset the modem so that any automatically updated firmware is activated
Insert a pin into the reset hole
If your connection is via a fibre or cable entry modem (FTTP/HFC cable), reboot that device as well

Finally, check your Modem lights to confirm you've switched

When you’ve rebooted the modem check the front light is green
This may take up to five minutes
Green: switch successful
You may receive a confirmation SMS
Blue: modem is still connected to the Telstra mobile network
This may indicate an issue with your service preventing it from switching back
