NBN drops out everyday

My NBN goes down at random times. I have received an SMS from Telstra everday saying since the 15 Aug that my Smart Modem is available now. It happens all hours of the day with no set schedule. Why is my connection so unstable and is this normal?

2-3 is within an acceptable range for NBN. You can call through to Telstra's NBN team on 1800 834 273 who can check how many drops have occurred within a 24 hour period and investigate further

2 to 3, it depends, I'm not always home, but I get an SMS from Telstra telling me when it happens.

OK thanks....2-3 everyday, my old ADSL 2 connection never missed a beat, I guess I may of been lucky.
