I have a Telstra adsl smart modem gen2. The light at the front is always blue. Every light on the back is green besides the Mobile Mode which has no light shining. I've tried switching it on and off multiple times.

Have you enter you bigpond username (Full bigpond primary email address) and password in the modem's Broadband PPPOE settings? To log into modem open a Web browser on a device connected to modem and go to http://192.168.0.1, modem's admin password is Telstra.
What is the model number and version number of the modem? This information is displayed on left hand side of modem's log in screen. Bit confused by the mention of a pin. Internet password usually contains numbers and letters.
