Smart Modem not switching to 4G

Can someone check if the SIM in my Smart Modem has been correctly provisioned please?

 

Crowd Support says there were a batch of Smart modems were the SIM was incorrectly provisioned. Mine is not switching automatically during an outage.

 

I have the SIM IMEI number.

Usually when SIM is incorrectly provisioned the signal light is off.

 

In some cases when internet is lost the 4G does not kick in. Have you tried testing by disconnecting the WAN port on the modem. It could take up to 4.5 minutes for modem to switch to backup.

Have you tried removing SIM and then reinserting it? End with cut off ends goes in first and metal contacts face WAN port. What colour is Wireless Signal light?

Thanks, yes I have tried that. No change. Mobile signal light starts green then changes to amber after a few seconds. Currently amber.

Thanks for that, I have tried disconnecting the WAN port but I didn't leave it disconnected for that long. I will try that again. Will update this thread in 10/15 minutes.

That worked. The modem has successfully switched over to mobile mode.
