TELSTRA SMART MODEM GEN 2

Have just connected to nbn with a smart modem.
My question is...
What is the default password to gain access to the modem.
Before jumping the gun please note I am not asking about the wifi password and I have tried...
admin, password, telstra and blank (no password).

in my experience its either

telstra ; or
Telstra

I have tried exactly what you GuyMacD have done, I still cannot log in.
Someone has a solution it would be much appreciated if you could post this .Thank You

Trying to log in to Smart Modem Gen2 does not work with Telstra, telstra, admin, Admin ....i have tried everything that I could find in the links reSmiley Frustratedmart Modem Gen2 .Hopefully someone has a answer for me please Thank you

if user = admin password = Telstra is not working, I would suggest factory resetting the modem

They are the default credentials

I looked underneath my modem and found the gateway number. It was different to what I was using and “mygateway” didn’t seem to work. After I reset my modem I’m pretty sure user and password was “admin”. But a Telstra person told me it will default to the WiFi name and WiFi password but I’m pretty sure that didn’t work. Good luck
