Telstra Gateway Max (Netgear C6300BD) - Max Devices - does this impair performance

Hi and sorry for the dumb question ...

We have Cable Broadband at the standard (up to 30Mbps download) speed.

We have 2 working adults and 2 middle-school kids - 4 PCs, 4 Tablets, 4 mobile phones, Smart TV (Samsung), TelstraTV,  Microsoft Xbox, HP Printer on the WiFi as well.

There are times that the TV simply won't connect to the internet - like, lots of times. The TV is connected via Ethernet cable to the modem.

We reboot the TV, reboot the modem, still no connection and this is like 11pm on a Monday night (i.e. wouldn't expect too much network traffic).

I have this niggling feeling it's connected to us having maxed out the devices connected.

Admittedly, I don't actually have any reason to support this. Could be something totally unrelated.

Any ideas? Many thanks in advance ...
