Telstra smart modem gen 2 (Technicolor DJA0231) - spontaneous rebooting

Modem Global Info as follows:

Product Name Technicolor DJA0231

Software Version 18.1.c

Firmware Version 18.1.c.0384-950-RB

Hardware Version VCNT-A

DSL Version A2pvfbH043k.d26t

 

The modem spontaneously reboots itself many times each day. So the whole home network is without internet connection (NBN HFC) during the reboot cycle.
It is definitely not a power outage issue: no other devices are similarly affected.
 
Is there any known solution?

Do you have any IOS devices connected to the modem with IOS 13 installed? IOS devices with this version of software have been known to cause the modem to reboot. I have also had experience with other devices causing Technicolor modems to reboot.

Yes, we do have devices with IOS13 onboard, but my *belief* (can’t be certain) is that this issue pre-dates the introduction of IOS13 into our household.
