USB Sharing on Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2

I have just had my modem upgraded to the Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 from the C6300BD.

I am having trouble in having my Seagate 6TB USB Drive shared with the Smart Modem, I have it plugged in to the USB 3.0 port on the back yet it does not show up in my Router admin panel. I tried with a USB stick and it worked fine.

I have SMB 1.0 turned on so I know that is not the issue.

Any suggestions?

Re: USB Sharing on Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2

The smart modem only supports drives up to 2 Terabytes. You could try partitioning the drive into 3 partitions of 2 Terabytes each.

Telstra Smart Modem

Plug in and connect in minutes. Smart.
